New Mexico Cyberinfrastructure Day 2012 will be held on Friday, Sept. 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Albuquerque. Sponsored by New Mexico EPSCoR, DataONE, the UNM Information Technologies Department, and the UNM Office of the Vice President for Research, New Mexico Cyberinfrastructure Day (CI Day) will focus on data management best practices, and other related topics, for researchers in the Humanities and Sciences, presented by researchers from the University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University and New Mexico Tech.

CI Day kicks off with a welcome reception and a Posters Session on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m. Students and faculty are invited to present posters as part of the Posters Session. On Friday, Sept. 28, various speakers and hands-on sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Representatives from University departments will be on hand to answer questions about cyberinfrastructure resources and services available on their respective campuses. Apple will provide the keynote speech titled, "Create, Curate, and Connect with iTunes University."

Registration is required by Friday, Sept. 21, along with a $30 registration fee, which includes the welcome reception, and a light breakfast and lunch. Complimentary parking will be available in the Hyatt parking lot for CI Day attendees.
