The Arizona Wallow wildfire is yet another reminder of the ongoing drought that New Mexico and much of the Southwest faces. This week on New Mexico in Focus, insight and debate on how officials are handling the dry conditions, and what residents should be doing to help out.

KNME's one hour public affairs show New Mexico in Focus airs Fridays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 6:30 a.m. on KNME, Channel 5.1. The show can also be seen on KNME's Digital Channel 9.1 on Saturdays at 5 p.m.

Also this week, Deepak Chopra, well known for his self-help book "Seven Spiritual Laws of Success," is back with a new spin on the seven laws, this time involving superheroes. The book is a joint project with his son Gotham, and takes a more enlightened look at society's fascination with heroes and villains and the battle between good and evil.
