This week on New Mexico in Focus, Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham discusses her first three months in Washington, D.C. Her tenure has seen the advent of the budget sequester, which is forcing cuts in her district. She also talks about potential pitfalls in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.

New Mexico PBS' one hour public affairs show New Mexico in Focus airs Fridays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 7 a.m. on Channel 5.1. The show can also be seen on New Mexico PBS Channel 9.1 on Saturdays at 5 p.m.

Also this week, panelists talk about the whirlwind week for the University of New Mexico men's basketball team with the departure of Steve Alford and hire of Craig "Noodles" Neal as head coach. In addition, the Line examines the conflicts of interest in New Mexico's citizen legislature.
