Ten celebrated New Mexico authors will discuss their work and the creative process this fall in appearances at The University of New Mexico Honors College.

These Honors Forum lectures were established over 30 years ago by well-known local author Tony Hillerman.

In a continuance of tradition, the authors and poets will be interviewed by students in a class led by Steve Brewer, longtime Honors instructor and the author of 27 published books.

"The class gives students a rare opportunity to get inside the minds of fiction writers and poets and to explore the twisty routes of the creative process," says Brewer.

The first hour of the class is conducted in the Honors Forum, and is free and open to the public. The Honors Forum is downstairs from the Student Health Center, east of the Student Union Building (SUB).

All but one of the Monday talks will begin at 9 a.m.
