This week, New Mexico in Focus begins its 2024 election interviews with U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M. Politics correspondent Gwyneth Doland asks about several top concerns for most New Mexico voters: crime in our state, immigration reform and security at our southern border.

Then Gwyneth asks Heinrich about his stance on abortion, his work to pass gun control reform measures, and his thoughts on artificial intelligence. 

In collaboration with New Mexico in Depth, Indigenous Affairs Reporter Bella Davis speaks with several Native people about this year’s election and why some folks are considering voting third party — or not at all.
