New Mexico in Focus Correspondent Gwyneth Doland continues the series of one-on-one interviews with candidates competing in November’s general election. This week, Doland talks with Secretary of State candidates Republican Dianna J. Duran and Democrat Maggie Toulouse Oliver.

The program airs Friday nights at 7 p.m. on channel 5.1 and appears online on the NMiF website shortly thereafter. The show rebroadcasts Saturday at 5 p.m. on channel 9.1. and again on Sunday at 7 a.m. on channel 5.1.

NMiF analyzes the Secretary of State interviews and discusses the Congressional District 2 debate between incumbent Republican Steve Pearce and Democratic challenger Roxanne “Rocky” Lara, airing this week on KNME and New Mexico public media.

The Line will also look at developments in the shake-up among behavioral health providers that started last year when 15 New Mexico companies were accused of millions in Medicaid fraud. Also, a video that aired on KOAT-TV Sunday produced by Concerned Hispanics Involved in Legislative Empowerment (CHILE) PAC and promoted as a documentary, is under fire because it aired as a paid advertisement. Gov. Susana Martinez’ campaign has filed an ethics complaint against the CHILE PAC, alleging that it failed to register as a political action committee.
