The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs are now accepting nominations for their annual award to outstanding individual staff members and a workgroup at the University of New Mexico who have provided extraordinary service. To nominate someone for this award, fill out this electronic nomination form. Nominations must be received no later than Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m.
Regular, current non-faculty staff personnel or workgroups are eligibile for an award. Previously nominated staff or workgroups may be nominated again, provided the nominee(s) have not received the award in the past. Current Provost Committee for Staff members are not eligible. Staff, faculty and students in the Provost's units may nominate any permanent, non-faculty staff member. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
Members of the Provost's Committee for Staff will screen all nominees, which is then forwarded to the Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs for approval. A certificate and a monetary award will be presented to the individual staff selected. Workgroups selected will not receive a monetary award, but do receive a certificate and donated UNM and community gift items. The award ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 3:30 p.m.
