In the spirit of the season, departments in the Office of Student Affairs are collecting donations for charities throughout the community. The university community is encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities to help those in need.

Toys for Tots
Air Force ROTC is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots through Thursday, Dec. 9 the AF ROTC detachment, 1901 Las Lomas NE, across from University House, daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact Elizabeth Hofman-Yslas at 277-4502 or eyslas@unm.edu for more information.

Precious Gifts Program
Accessibility Resource Center is having a clothing drive for women's clothes for the Precious Gifts Program. Donations can be dropped off at the ARC Office in Mesa Vista Hall, Room 2021. Deadline to drop off donations is December 10. Contact Amanda Butrum 277-3226 for more information.

Roadrunner Food Bank
Air Force ROTC and Accessibility Resource Center serve as collection sites for the Roadrunner Food Bank drive. Accessibility Resource Center will be accepting donations at the ARC Office in Mesa Vista Hall, Room 2021 through Friday, Dec. 10.

The Giving Tree
The tree is located in the Student Union Building Atrium. The UNM community is encouraged to take an ornament off of the tree, purchase the item requested, and return it, unwrapped, to the ASUNM Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10. Items needed range from children's toys to household items and the cost per item is generally less than $20. Gifts will be donated to Casa Esperanza, Catholic Charities and Ronald McDonald House.
