Many projects are underway with the end of the spring semester. With less pedestrian and vehicle traffic, summer is a great time for the UNM Physical Plant Department to perform renovations and improvements on campus.

The following is a list of a few of those projects.

Hokona Hall – the continuation of stucco refinishing. This project should be complete by the end of May.

Cornell Mall - this project involves the removal and replacement of concrete and brick inlays. There could be a significant amount of noise created, especially during the demolition. A lane will be consistently maintained at all times for fire access for the duration of this project. This project continues through May 30.

Anderson School of Management (Phase 2) - Remove and replace the sidewalk and steps on the north side of the building.

Fine Arts and Art buildings - Storm drain inlet replacement in the road between the two buildings. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Various smaller projects involving intermittent sidewalk closers (2-3 days) at the Navy, Hibben and Latin American buildings. These projects will begin at various times in May-June.
