Construction on University Blvd. May Delay South Lot and Lobo Village Shuttle Service

Southbound University Blvd. will continue to be restricted to one lane through Tuesday, Aug. 23, due to construction related to the Lead and Coal Improvements Project. Beginning Wednesday Aug. 24, two southbound lanes on University Blvd. will be open; however, only one northbound lane will be open as crews continue to work on the project. These closures are expected to last through September 14. PATS encourages students, staff, and faculty to allow extra time for shuttle service as the construction may cause delays for the South Lot and Lobo Village shuttles, which travel along University Blvd.

The City of Albuquerque advises motorists traveling on University Blvd. to allow an extra 15 to 20 minutes to reach their destinations and exercise caution in the construction zone.
