Afro-Dominican writer Loida Maritza Perez is the guest speaker at a talk, "Geographies of Home and Reflections on the Afro-Dominican Experience during the Haitian Massacre of 1937" on Tuesday, April 16, from 4-5:30 p.m. in Ortega Hall 335. Her presentation highlights the intersections of creative writing, memory, history and identity construction. The talk is in English and is free and open to the public.
