The University of New Mexico has over 10 million square feet of facilities and spreads over 680 acres of space. Maintaining the physical environment on a campus this size requires a lot of planning and consistent diligence to protect and care for the physical environment of the campus. The UNM Physical Plant Department (PPD) gears up for a summer of special projects.

Below is a list of projects PPD will be working on beginning May 11, 2015. Individuals on campus are encouraged to find alternate routes whenever possible.

Concrete Replacement between Northrup Hall and Carlisle Gym
This project will begin on Monday, May 11, and the general scope of the project is the removal and replacement of the concrete from the driveway entrance East of Clark Hall down between Carlisle Gym and Northrop Hall, east to Yale Mall.

The project has an expected completion date of June 10, 2015. During this time there will be no vehicle or pedestrian access into or through this area.  If you have questions about this project, contact Willie West at (505) 277-0615 or wwest@unm.edu.
