Is your department looking to increase employee wellness, reduce stress, reduce campus parking and traffic congestion and set a great environmentally friendly example for students, staff, and faculty commuting to and traveling around campus? Then you should check out Parking & Transportation Services' Lobo Bike program, a free bike-sharing program for UNM Departments that allows on-campus errands to be run quickly and healthily.
Using a Lobo Bike is also a great way to take a short break on campus. The bike comes with all the necessary equipment: helmet, u-lock and keys, basket for extra storage, safety vest, odometer and bicycle safety training.
Parking & Transportation Services is currently accepting applications from Departments interested in this program. To apply visit: http://pats.unm.edu/lobobikes.cfm, download and complete the 2011-12 Lobo Bike Terms and Conditions (Application Form), and return to: Danielle Gilliam, Program Specialist. Fax: 277-1709 | e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. The application deadline is June 10, 2011.
