The popular Summer Youth Sports Program (SYSP), housed in the UNM College of Education's Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences, returns this summer. Titled "Healthy U at the U," is designed as an activity-based program open for all youngsters ages 8 – 14.

The program runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily and extends four weeks beginning Monday, June 1 and ending Friday, June 26.

Registration dates are Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Johnson Center. The cost is $10 per child.

The program features activities such as basketball, dance, flag football, jump rope, rugby, soccer, volleyball, science, swimming and cooperative games.
