UNM President Garnett S. Stokes is inviting the campus community to a reception honoring the recipients of the 2019 Sarah Belle Brown Community Service Award.

This year’s award winners are Stacy Sacco (faculty award), Tracy Owen (staff award) and Aaron Boswell (student award).

The reception is being held Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at University House. Those planning to attend can RSVP by contacting lpeterkin@unm.edu, and are asked to do so by Nov. 26.

To support and promote the University’s commitment to public service, Doug Brown, UNM Board of Regent’s president and former dean of the Anderson School of Management, established the Sarah Belle Brown Community Service Award in honor of his wife. Each year the award is given to a faculty member, staff member and student who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to community service by volunteering their time and expertise.
