The monthly 'Science on Tap' discussion is set for Thursday, Nov. 6 and features University of New Mexico Mechanical Engineering Professor Peter Vorobieff, to engage the audience with a discussion on “From Ripples and Spills to Supernovae" at the Chama River Brewing Company, 4939 Pan American Freeway NE.

Vorobieff’s primary research interests are in the area of fundamental hydrodynamic instability studies, renewable energy and advanced experimental techniques. He also serves as associate editor of ASME "Journal of Fluids Engineering."

The next 'Science on Tap' is Thursday, Dec. 4 and features “Bringing up Baby: The Immunology of Pregnancy” by Victoria Hansen and Rob Miller of the UNM Department of Biology.
