University of New Mexico students concerned about eating habits can discuss those concerns with a member of Student Health and Counseling at "Healthy Body Image Screening Day," Wednesday, April 6 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at SHAC, room 155, located just outside the west entrance.

The program offers education and screening to help students stop unhealthy eating habits before they evolve into eating disorders. Anonymous screenings are available along with information on how to stop letting food, weight and calories control your life.

Free online screenings for a range of mental health conditions are also available at SHAC. Students receive their scores, feedback about their scores and referral information to campus resources, if appropriate, immediately after participating in the screening.
