The 2nd annual Southwest Regional Symposium on Global Health will be held Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 18-19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (both days) in the Domenici Center Auditorium. The conference, titled "The Southwest Regional Symposium on Global Health," is organized by the Center for Global Health at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.

This symposium, the first of its kind in this region of the U.S., is a global event and will spotlight the myriad activities of the UNM Center for Global Health and its international partners. The symposium was awarded a Framework Grant from the Fogarty International Center to develop a network of collaborative research and clinical programs that link UNM to partner institutions around the world.
