Henry D. Coleman presents the “U.S. and Non-U.S. Patent Filings in a Rapidly Changing Political and Economic Environment” as part of the STC 2015 Fall Seminar Series on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. in building 800 of the UNM Science and Technology Park at 800 Bradbury Dr. SE.

This presentation will provide an overview of the patent application process and obtaining allowances in the United States and various jurisdictions. This topic will also incorporate information on the changes that are occurring in both the political and economic climate in various jurisdictions, which may be impactful on obtaining patent coverage.

Coleman has been in patent practice since 1985, with an emphasis on high technology chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, polymers, cosmetics and medical devices and instrumentation. His client base includes Fortune 500 companies, major universities, publicly traded high technology companies, private equity and venture capital groups, and individual inventors.
