Student Health Offering Flu Shot Clinics

By

Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) and UNM Hospital partner to offer free flu shots to the UNM community. The influenza vaccine will be offered to UNM students, staff and faculty (anyone 18 years old or older) Tuesday-Wednesday, Oct. 23-24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building atrium.

SHAC's "Take One for Raymond" flu shot clinics are dedicated to the memory of UNM student Raymond Plotkin, who died from the H1N1 virus in 2009. Plotkin's parents established the "Take One for Raymond" initiative and scholarship program to encourage everyone to get their seasonal flu shots.
