The Student Union Building Administration hosted the 11th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest in the SUB Atrium on All Hallows Eve. Filled with fun pumpkin carving, refreshments and Halloween movie watching, the event was an opportunity to give back to students and provide some Halloween fun.

Student intern Kyle Biederwolf said this event was fun because it was a good opportunity for students, who might not always have the chance to carve pumpkins, to do so. He said it was something that students could do in between classes, making it easy and convenient. Biederwolf said that this event, which was a project he took control of, was a success.

“We’re really happy we have the opportunity to give back to students,” he said.

The contest was sponsored by the SUB Administration, who provided the pumpkins. There was a great turnout, with many creatively carved pumpkins to be judged.
