The University of New Mexico's Women's Health Policy Unit presents a summer brown bag lecture featuring Saralyn Mark, Monday, July 11 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Center for Health Policy in the lower level conference room, Jonson Gallery Building.
Mark will also read from her book, "Stellar Medicine: A Journey through the Universe of Women's Health," which discusses spirituality, faith and healing followed by an interactive discussion of topics including sex/gender-based medicine, menopause, alternative medicine, faith and healing, pandemics, medical myths, veterans' health and the benefits of sex, chocolate and wine.
Mark is president of SolaMed Solutions LLC, as well as associate professor at both Yale and Georgetown's school of medicine and George Mason University.
