University of New Mexico students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by a Lobo exclusive event at Tamarind Institute on Friday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All Lobos are invited to the Tamarind gallery to browse lithographs specially priced just for them (some as low as $25). The prints are works by contemporary artists who were invited to do residencies at Tamarind Institute. Some of the prints are slightly damaged or the last in the edition; but might still appeal to members of the UNM community.
Tamarind hopes all art-enthusiasts at UNM will be proud of this world-renowned institute and that the event will spark interest in new or seasoned collectors.
Public hours throughout the year at Tamarind Institute are Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
