Information Technologies (IT) and the Office of the CIO will host Technology Days Thursday-Friday, July 22-23 at the UNM Student Union Building. The two-day event will give UNM faculty, students and staff an opportunity to learn about, and participate, in discussions on current university technologies and future innovations. The theme for this event, Positioning the University of New Mexico for the Future, speaks to the many nuances of technology and its increasing impact on all aspects of our lives.

Chief Information Officer Gil Gonzales will give the keynote address discussing current and future IT initiatives for the university, and both Apple and Microsoft will present their visions for mobile computing. Training will be available for UNM's new web content management system, Adobe Connect web conferencing and Apple's software development kit for the IPhone/IPad. Various solutions will also be presented for virtualization, workstation management and event capture.

Seating in some events is limited, and early registration is encouraged. To register online and for an overview of events visit: Technology Days. For additional information e-mail Esther Russell at: erussell@salud.unm.edu.
