The University Communication and Marketing department (UCAM) is dedicated to helping Lobos tell their stories and showcase The University in the process. It supports the UNM community with numerous services, from websites to news stories, and advertising to video production.

UCAM recently launched a new website to streamline assistance to help schools, colleges, departments and programs across campus tell their stories through written, visual and online mediums.

The UCAM Support website is a one-stop hub to help researchers, faculty, staff and administrators connect to resources. Support tickets can be submitted to all UCAM areas—communications, marketing, social media, and web communications. The website offers a variety of forms to fulfill many basic requests, along with a general assistance form for those who are uncertain about who should handle the request.

UCAM will continue working on its regular beat system but encourages the campus community the take advantage of the streamlined forms system to inform the Communication, Marketing, and Web Communication teams of requests.

Here are some of the request forms available on the site: 

Communication
-Request media interview or media support
-Submit a news or feature story, or general campus announcement

Marketing
-Request Marketing support with graphic design or other collateral
-Request or sign up for brand training and support

Social Media
-Submit a posting for social media

Web
-Request website support

There is also a video request form for departments looking to create visually engaging elements to help tell their story. Some UCAM requests might require additional funds depending on the scope of the project.
