The UNM community is invited to participate in a pre-United Way campaign "tee-off" Friday, Oct. 21 in the 10th Annual UNM Golf Fiesta at UNM's Championship Course. The tournament is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and retirees. "Change the Story" is the theme for the University of New Mexico's Annual United Way campaign which begins Monday, Oct. 31.
The tournament is limited to the first 30 4-person teams. The registration fee of $60 per person/$240 per team includes green fees, cart, prizes and a post-tournament buffet.
The tournament features a 4-person scramble with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Team prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place, while individual contests will be held for closest to the pin, longest drive and other hole contests.
Through participation in the annual Central New Mexico United Way campaign, UNM is able to contribute to the efforts that benefit numerous local programs and services throughout our community.
