Best availability of seats is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday performances throughout the run. Additional tickets for every performance are released 72, 48 and 24 hours prior to each performance so patrons are advised to check back regularly for availability of seats for any performance.
Tickets to The Lion King are available at the Lobo Ticket Office at The Pit Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; at select Albertsons locations every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; by calling UNM Tickets at (505) 925-5858 or (877) 664-8661 Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; at the UNM Ticket Office at the Bookstore Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturdays noon to 4 p.m.; or via the internet at and Popejoy Presents. Ticket prices for the engagement start as low as $52.50. Premium Ticket Packages are also available; they include prime seat locations, a commemorative souvenir program and an exclusive merchandise item.
Student Rush Tickets are $27.50 each and are available one hour prior to curtain at Popejoy Hall Box Office at the entrance to Popejoy Hall. To purchase, valid Student I.D. is required, and there is a limit of one ticket per student, per I.D, cash or credit cards accepted. Student rush tickets will be available for all performances EXCEPT Friday evenings, Saturday matinees and evenings and Sunday matinees.
