The Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico will offer Transgender 101 and 201 Trainings at the UNM Art Museum on Wed. Aug. 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The courses will cover a 2-hour training covering terms, definitions and concepts as they relate to transgender gender nonconforming, nonbinary and gender variant people. This training will go in depth on key topics specific to educational settings and also cover how to be a good ally to transgender and gender nonconforming. 

The Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico provides support, community, and connection to transgender, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and gender variant people and their families through advocacy, education, and direct services.
