The UNM Alumni Association seeks nominations for its prestigious James F. Zimmerman, Bernard S. Rodey, Erna S. Fergusson and Faculty Teaching Awards. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Nov. 10.
Nomination criteria is as follows:
- James F. Zimmerman Award must be an alumnus of UNM and must have made a significant contribution which has brought fame and honor to UNM or to the State of New Mexico.
- Bernard S. Rodey Award recipient can be, but does not have to be an alum of UNM. This award recognizes leadership efforts that have contributed significantly to the field of education.
- Erna S. Fergusson Award recipient can be, but does not have to be an alum of UNM. This award recognizes exceptional accomplishments and/or commitment or distinguished service to the University.
- Faculty Teaching Award recipient must be a faculty member currently employed full-time in any school or college of UNM. This award recognizes outstanding teaching and service to students.
The award winners will be honored on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at the Alumni Association’s annual Winter Awards Dinner.
