Price will reflect on UNM Press’s significant milestone and discuss the legacy, culture, history, and stories published by the Press. The event is free but RSVP as seats are limited.

This year, the University of New Mexico Press celebrates ninety years as the publisher of New Mexico. Established by the Board of Regents at the University of New Mexico in 1929, UNM Press is observing nine decades of publishing significant scholarly works, as well as award-winning books on the people, history, and landscapes of New Mexico.

“This anniversary is an opportunity for us to recognize UNM Press’s role in showcasing the literary and scholarly excellence of New Mexico,” says UNM Press Director Stephen Hull. “It’s also a time to consider how we will grow this legacy over the next ninety years. We are grateful to be part of a campus and statewide community that values our contributions to scholarship and the arts.”
