As 2012 quickly comes to an end, this is an excellent time to think about your estate planning needs. The Anderson School of Management is helping to clear up the confusion with an Estate Planning Information Session on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 9 – 11 a.m. This is an information session only, there will be no solicitations.

Estate Planning Attorney and Anderson Foundation Board Member Vickie Wilcox will join UNM Foundation Director of gift Planning Sheila Hard for a two hour information session that will explain how a will or trust can protect your family from unintended consequences. They will provide information on the current federal estate tax exemption provisions and explain how the tax law could change significantly beginning in 2013, and they will demonstrate how charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts can increase your income and reduce taxes.

The UNM Anderson estate planning session is free and a continental breakfast will be served. Parking is available in the structure located on the corner of Lomas and Yale - a short walk to the Anderson School. Metered spaces require credit/debit cards; no cash will be accepted.

To reserve your space, email Roberta Ricci or call, (505) 277-6264.
