Three finalists for the position of vice president for Institutional Support Services have been announced and invited to visit campus during the next two weeks. The finalists include Michael Pieper, Shawna Wolfe and Robert Robinson.

Finalist interviews will include open forums and meetings for each candidate with campus administrators and staff beginning Monday, Oct. 9. Candidate surveys will be available by 5 p.m. the day of each candidate's open forum on UNM's Executive Search website

Michael Pieper - ISS

Michael Pieper – Monday, Oct. 9, 1 – 2 p.m.

Undergraduate from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in General Management, studied the utilization of human and physical resources to attain organizational objectives. Graduate degree in School Business Management from the University of Wisconsin –Whitewater in School Business Management, studied advanced understanding of education, accounting, finance, information technology, property management, budget preparation, personnel management, public policy, risk management and community engagement.

Currently, Pieper is the associate vice president for Facilities/Chief Facilities Officer for the University of North Dakota.

Shawna Wolfe - ISS

Shawna A. Wolfe – Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1 – 2 p.m.

Shawna Wolfe is a distinguished alumna of Ohio University, where she has made significant contributions as the associate vice president for University Planning. With a deep-rooted passion for the university’s mission, Wolfe employs her expertise to provide informed planning through collaborative engagement and a holistic approach. Her dedication lies in considering the campus comprehensively, fostering discussions that incorporate diverse ideas to meet individual needs while ensuring the well-being of the collective whole.

Currently, Wolfe is at the forefront of pioneering a new space model at Ohio University. This endeavor aims to redefine space function, ownership, and budget allocation, right-sizing the campus while promoting transparency and flexible utilization across the university's physical portfolio.

Robert Robinson - ISS

Robert Robinson – Monday, Oct. 16, 1 – 2 p.m.

Currently, Robert Robinson is the assistant vice president for Facilities and Campus Services at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. At Pomona, he oversees Facilities Management; Planning, Design and Construction Management; Energy Management and Sustainability; Emergency Management; Housing and Dining Services; Parking Services; Duplicating/Mailing Services and Conference/Event Services. He also serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees. He oversaw creation of the Pomona College Capital Plan and subsequent Master Plan and developed Campus Planning and Design Guidelines to serve as a planning tool for all campus construction.

Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree from Georgetown, as well as certificates in crisis management and educational management from Harvard University.
