After a nationwide search facilitated by Greenwood/Asher & Associates, Dr. Amy Wohlert, President’s Office chief of staff, has announced the selection of three finalists for the position of Vice President or Associate Vice President Alumni Relations (depending on qualifications) and Executive Director of the Alumni Association at the University of New Mexico.

The finalists include: Monica Armenta, executive director, Communication, Albuquerque Public Schools; Lynn Trojahn, vice president of Advancement, Accion New Mexico; and Dana Allen, assistant vice president for Alumni Relations and executive director of the Alumni Association, Old Dominion University.

“This is a vital position for the entire university community, and Dr. Karen Abraham’s retirement leaves us with an exceptionally strong foundation for the future," Wohlert said. "The search committee has identified three finalists from an excellent pool of candidates. We hope to have lots of interaction during their campus visits, and give them a warm Lobo welcome."

The finalists will each speak at a one-hour open forum where members of the UNM community will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to the search committee.

The schedule for the first two candidate’s open forums is as follows:
