The University of New Mexico's Art Museum launches a summer book club with a discussion on Rebecca Solnit's "River of Shadows: Eadweard Muybridge and the Technological Wild West," Tuesday, June 12 at 5:30 p.m.
The book club is being held in conjunction with the museum's "Re-Considering the Photographic Masterpiece" art exhibit.
Books may be purchased at the Art Museum's Book Shelf. The Book Club discussion guide can be found online at UNM Art Museum.
Books are also available at Bookworks and Page One.
The UNM Art Museum is located in the Center for the Arts and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paid parking is available in the Visitor's Parking Structure at Central and Stanford. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.
