Join TIAA Wealth Management Consultant Denise Lambert as she explains what you need to know about wills, asset ownership, and beneficiary designations in a financial wellness session titled “Why do you need an estate plan?”

Two sessions, one each on main campus and north campus, will be held on Thursday and Friday, March 22-23.

The Main Campus session will be held March 22 at the UNM Business Center, EOD 1018. Interested attendees may attend in person or virtually via Skpye. The North Campus session will be held March 23 in the HSLIC Library, Rm. 428. Attendees may also attend this session in person or via webcast.* Both sessions will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. each day.

Lambert will discuss a variety of topics including:

  • Take away questions for your attorney to create an effective estate plan.
  • Become familiar with basic documents needed for your plan.
  • Prepare for health care and financial decisions if you become incapacitated.
  • Evaluate the potential for estate taxes.
