Eleuterio Santiago-Díaz will be at the UNM Bookstore on Wednesday, April 25 at noon for a reading and book signing featuring the poetry collection "Breaths." (UNM Press)

Breaths is a poetic exploration of Budō (the Japanese martial arts) and Zen. It delves into the relationship between these two traditions and projects their spirit onto the textures of everyday life. Accompanied by Yoshiko Shimano's eloquent prints, the poems balance action, energy, meditation and contemplation on how to live attentively and actively in the world.

Santiago-Díaz is an associate professor of Latin American and Caribbean literature in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UNM.

The UNM Bookstore is located at 2301 Central Ave. NE at the intersection of Cornell and Central.
