Students attend a Career Services sponsored career expo. has named University of New Mexico Career Services as one of the best for colleges that provide those services. was created to provide students with as much information as possible regarding aspects of a colleges that are just as important to consider as degree programs.

Although often overlooked by students when selected a college, by the time they're finishing their education, students might find Career Services the most important office in the school. looked at several services offered: resume services, interview practice and job/internship search.

Of UNM Career Services, reported, "The University of New Mexico’s Office of Career Services was designed to assist students in developing, planning and implementing successful career plans. The center offers individual career counseling, access to a career resource lab, opportunities for cooperative education and internships, a series of workshops of career-related skills and on-campus recruiting and job fairs."
