November is American Indian Heritage Month and American Indian Student Services (AISS) is collaborating with Native American Studies and several chartered student organizations to celebrate on UNM campus.

This event, hosted by BSE and the Native Student Organizations, welcomes members of the community to celebrate the holidays with a Thanksgiving feast. The event will feature the movie Star Wars spoken in Navajo language.

Additionally, Native American fraternity Beta Sigma Epsilon (BSE) hosts two events to help and engage students while getting them involved in the community. Other events include the “Friendsgiving” event taking place on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m.

The campus community is invited to attend and participate in a variety of public and cost-free educational, social, cultural, and artistic events throughout the month of November.
