“Staff Appreciation Month is the time when we as a University, salute the outstanding staff at UNM”, said President of Staff Council, Gene Henley. “It’s a public demonstration of thanks to the over 5,000 staff that help make this university the ideal place to work.”

As President Frank said in his weekly message, “We would not be able to educate our students or conduct our research without you. You play a vital role in the life of UNM and, as we have needed to streamline and gain efficiencies, you have been asked to do more than ever.”
