The University of New Mexico Foundation announced recently the hiring of Emily Fox as the new senior development officer at the Anderson School of Management.  Fox was hired after an extensive national search and comes to UNM after spending the past 17 years at the Discovery Center of Springfield in Springfield, Mo. and serving most recently as its executive director.

At Anderson School, Fox will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift donors and prospects. Fox will also oversee activities with the Anderson Foundation Board, Anderson Alumni Council and Anderson community events including the Hall of Fame, the school’s largest fundraiser that recognizes successful Anderson alumni.

UNM Anderson School Dean Doug Brown looks forward to working with Fox. “The whole team is ready to embrace Emily’s leadership, experience and enthusiasm,” said Brown. “We are so excited to welcome Emily to the UNM family. She is going to be a great fit and asset to the development operation,” said Larry Ryan, vice president, University Development at the UNM Foundation.
Fox begins Monday, Dec. 9.
