Lobos – do you want to make the world a better place? Are you interested in helping families in need? Do you believe more students should graduate? Are you moved by the needs of victims of domestic violence? Would you like to see the homeless obtain food, shelter and support without having to ask for it?
Lobos can make a difference right here in our community by supporting the UNM Gives United Way Campaign. Five minutes and a pledge of just a few dollars per month can change lives. The campaign runs through Giving Tuesday on Nov. 30.
To encourage giving, all those who make a monetary pledge to the campaign through Nov. 30 will be entered into a random drawing for prizes. Prize drawings are now underway. UNM President Garnett S. Stokes and Health Sciences Center Executive Vice President Douglas Ziedonis will also make a personal pizza delivery to one department with a noticeable level of monetary donations, both on main campus and at the HSC, state COVID restrictions allowing.
Consider making your pledge at unmgives.unm.edu today – it’s quick and easy! If each of us makes a small commitment, Lobos can collectively have an enormous impact in New Mexico during these very challenging times.
