The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Institute for Ethics is offering an Interdisciplinary Applied Ethics course, "Joan Gibson Health Care Ethics Program," Saturday, Sept. 17 through Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Institute for Ethics located at 917 Vassar Drive NE.

The program is designed to broaden the bioethics knowledge base and to increase skills in recognizing and addressing ethical dilemmas in health care. The program has two modules, that need not be taken in order, designed for faculty and staff, as well as other professionals interested in the interdisciplinary study of health care ethics.

The fall module will meet every other Tuesday in September, October and November from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., plus two Saturday sessions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
