The University of New Mexico hosts a special Fall Preview Day designed for high school students Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Parents and families are also welcome to attend as part of the event.

During the Fall Preview prospective students can explore world class academic programs, learn about student services, attend admissions and financial aid and scholarship presentations, tour campus and residence halls. After the preview, join the fun at Dreamstyle Stadium as New Mexico takes on Air Force as part of Heroes Day at 12:05 p.m. Tickets complimentary of UNM Athletics.

8:30 to 9 a.m.

  • Check-in – Popejoy Hall
    Early-Bird Campus Tours

9:15 – 10 a.m.

  • Lobo Experience Presentation – Popejoy Hall
    The Lobo Experience presentation is an introduction to UNM and to the recruiters who will be your guides through the application process.

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Assorted events)          

  • Academic & Student Services Fair —SUB Ballrooms
    Want to learn more about the degree programs offered at UNM? Interested in getting involved on campus? Curious about the support and assistance resources UNM provides? Learn about academic programs, campus clubs and organizations, and success services during our Information Fair.
  • Various College & Academic Open Houses
  • Campus Tours — north SUB
    Campus tours allow prospective students to see classrooms, libraries, recreational facilities, and more. During this 30-minute walking tour you’ll also get to know many of the social corners of campus, such as our movie theater, restaurants, museums, and of course the UNM Duck Pond.
  • Residence Life & Student Housing Tours — north SUB
