The University of New Mexico hosts a special Spring Preview Day designed for high school students to get to know the University on Saturday, March 7. Parents and families are also welcomed to attend.
During Spring Preview, prospective students can explore world-class academic programs, learn about student services, attend admissions and financial aid and scholarship presentations, tour campus and residence halls. The event is entirely held in the Student Union Building.
Schedule of Events
8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Check-in: SUB Ballrooms
- Early Bird Campus Tours: SUB north of check-in
9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
- Lobo Experience Presentation: SUB Ballrooms
The Lobo Experience presentation is an introduction to UNM and to the recruiters who will be the guides through the application process.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Academic & Student Services Fair: SUB Ballrooms and Atrium

- Various College & Academic Open Houses Campus Tours: North SUB
Campus tours allow prospective students to see classrooms, libraries, recreational facilities and more. During the 30-minute walking tour, prospective students also can see the many social corners of campus, such as the movie theatre, restaurants, museum, and the UNM Duck Pond.

- Residence Life & Housing Tours: North SUB
Housing Tours allow for prospective students to learn how Residence Life can contribute to student success and help get the most out of college experience.
Free parking is available in the Cornell Parking Structure on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional free parking is available in the "A", “B”, or “C” parking lots (please see the campus map for details). Please do not park in reserved spaces, resident lots, metered spaces or fire lanes. Vehicles with a valid handicap-accessible sticker may park in any marked handicap-accessible space. Parking is strictly enforced.
