The University of New Mexico launches a university-wide initiative called Institutional Assessment Day (IAD) on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Main and Valencia campuses.
IADs have been implemented in order to receive feedback and gather information from students about how well the university is doing in ensuring that their academic experiences are positive.
IAD occurs on Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Main and Valencia campuses, and Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21 at the Gallup and Los Alamos campuses.
The initiative will include satisfaction surveys from various administrative and student support service departments as well as individual student assessments.
Students who participate in at least three surveys and/or assessments will receive a UNM T-shirt and other free perks and prizes.
