In the course of routine monitoring, UNM IT has identified a key component in the data center that requires replacement.  The work must be done to ensure the reliability and availability of IT services and to mitigate the risk of lengthy unplanned service outages in the data center.

Additionally, UNM IT will be applying updates and security patches to the UNM Learn system in advance of the Fall semester. UNM IT has worked with the its advisory boards and other partners to identify the best dates for completing the work that will have the least impact on users.


o   Aug. 3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Data Center)
o   Aug. 4, 4:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Learn Maintenance)
o   Aug. 10, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Data Center)

Major services are listed below that will be unavailable during this time include but are not limited to:

o   Banner
o   Appworx
o   Learn
o   MyUNM
o   ListServ
o   MyReports

Major services that will not be impacted include:
o   VPN
o   LoboMail/O365 Suite
o   Wired internet
o   Wireless internet
o   LoboTime
