The first UNM Japan Festival will be held on Friday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Building Ballroom B. Booths featuring Japanese culture, such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, origami and flea market will all be introduced. Additionally, a variety of performances will be held.

Performances include:
11 - 11:30 a.m. - Video by various students about impression and images about Japan
12 - 1 p.m. - Taiko (Japanese Drum performance) by Smokin Batchi
1 - 1:30 p.m. - Okinawa Dance
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Fashion show
2:30 - 2:55 p.m. - Paper-plane contest
2:55 p.m. - Soran Dance performance by students.
