The University of New Mexico's Office of the Provost is hosting a facilitated discussion regarding opportunities to explore how to fulfill the mission of the Parent Association in the support of promoting student success, engaging parents in the University's mission and goals, assisting parents to play a supportive role in their student's education and to provide a forum for networking with other UNM parents. The discussion will be held Saturday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Pete McDavid Lounge at University Arena. Participants should enter at the northeast entrance.

The discussion agenda includes:

- Introductions
- Welcome remarks
- UNM Programs to promote student success
- Facilitated discussion
- Closing remarks and next steps
- Networking and refreshments

Additionally, participants are asked to complete a survey to help facilitators prepare for the discussion. The survey can be found at: UNM Parent Association Strategic Planning Survey.
