The University of New Mexico Parking and Transportation Department, together with Central New Mexico Community College and the Mid-Region Council of Governments are holding a public meeting this Wednesday, May 1 from noon-1 p.m. in the UNM Student Union Buildings Lobo Rooms A and B to get feedback from members of the UNM Community on behalf of the "UNM/CNM/Sunport Transit Study."

This project will help to develop transit, land use, and parking strategies to improve transportation in the UNM North, Central, and South campuses, CNM Main Campus, the Sunport area, UNM and Isotope Stadiums, and the surrounding neighborhoods and businesses.

These meetings will examine the analysis of potential transit alternatives and how land use will be integrated with the proposed transit service.

Additional meetings will be held at the Loma Linda Community Center on Tuesday, April 30 from 6-8 p.m. and at the CNM Student Resource Center on Thursday, May 2 from noon-1 p.m.
