University of New Mexico Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs James Paul Holloway and Senior Vice Provost Barbara Rodríguez traveled to Los Alamos recently to visit UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

At UNM-LA, Holloway toured the campus then met with faculty, staff, and campus leadership. UNM-LA Advisory Board members Michelle Hall and Pat Soran also attended the meeting.

He also spoke about the importance of collaboration, and underlined that each branch campus is an integral part of the entire UNM community.

In the afternoon, Holloway, Rodríguez and UNM-LA CEO Dr. Cynthia Rooney met with key individuals at LANL to discuss ongoing and potential opportunities for partnerships.
